The role of the Parents' Association is:
The Association provides invaluable support for the School.
Each year the Parents' Association organises a series of events for parents, including talks on topics which range from drug and alcohol abuse through to surviving the teenage years intact, as well as a Welcome Reception for New Parents, quiz nights, and a farewell party each year for the UVIth leavers.
The Parents' Association raises substantial sums of money for the School. Its main fundraising event is the annual Christmas Fayre. Projects which the Parents’ Association have supported include: the redecoration of the VIth Form Common Rooms, the flooring and sound systems for the Drama and Dance Studio, improvements in the ICT facilities, refurbishment of the School Chapel, and the purchase of school netball kits for tournaments.
The Organising Committee meets on average once or twice a term and is always on the lookout for new members!
