Trips & Expeditions
Extra-curricular Clubs and Activities
A wide-ranging programme of extra-curricular activities is offered at More House School ranging from board games to basketball. The activities take place during the lunch break or after school and, whilst most are run by members of staff, others are organised by the pupils themselves under staff supervision.

Barely a day passes at More House without one department or another making use of the wonderful cultural and educational possibilities on offer in central London with trips out to galleries, museums or other places of interest. Trips further afield also punctuate the curriculum such as the year 7 history trip to Bodiam Castle or the year 9 Classics trip to Fishbourne Palace. Tours abroad are also offered such as the annual international music tour or ski trip. More details or trips can be found on the relevant departmental page.
One week of the summer term is devoted to residential trips for each of years 7, 8 and 9. The trips encompass a range of educational and leisure activities that fall outside the normal curriculum. For this year, the following trips were organised:
Year 7 – Germany
Year 8 – France
Year 9 – Devon
Meanwhile, girls in year 10 are taken to a location within the British Isles in order to complete the expedition part of the Duke of Edinburgh bronze award.
