Ian Bogle studied Architecture and Urban Design at the Mackintosh School of Architecture, Glasgow School of Art, after which he joined Foster and Partners where he worked, amongst other projects, on the Stirling Prize winning Swiss Re Headquarters – The Gherkin.  He founded Bogle Architects in 2012 and the award winning practice is now active in countries in South America, Asia, Africa, Middle East and Europe across several building typologies and sectors.

The practice recently also won the prestigious British Expertise Award for International Architecture and Design Project 2019. Ian believes in education through encouragement and opportunity and is frequently invited to lecture on Architecture, Design and Environmental issues across the international conference circuit. He is also a Trustee of the Jubilee Gardens on the South Bank.
