Ms F Hagerty BA (Bristol) PG Dip LAMDA

Head

Faith Hagerty was brought up in West London, where she attended a Catholic convent before completing her senior school years at The Arts Educational School, followed by A Levels at Notting Hill and Ealing High School.

She studied Drama at Bristol University before completing a post-graduate acting diploma at LAMDA. She worked as a professional actor before experiencing a ‘lightbulb moment’ while directing a musical production with disadvantaged children, realising that her calling was to work with young people.

She joined More House from St Augustine’s Priory, Ealing, where she was a Deputy Head. In her fourteen years at St Augustine’s Priory, she successfully relaunched the Sixth Form, grew numbers and improved academic standards whilst maintaining the school’s focus on nurturing the individual. As part of her Deputy Head role, she maintained oversight of the co-curricular programme, as well as driving a number of marketing initiatives for the school.

She passionately believes in single sex education for girls, and that our role as educators is to prepare them for lifelong success as leaders and mothers. She states that "It is this vital nurturing of the individual that generates young women confident and creative enough to channel their strengths and be agents of change.”
