Today we celebrate the successes of our GCSE pupils, who have finished the most challenging of years with excellent results.

We celebrate a fantastic 48% of all grades at 7-9 (Grades A/A*). We are also delighted that our Year 11s secured 92% of grades at 4-9 across the year group. We know as teachers that today’s joy is about celebrating the journey each child has taken, whether that be from a grade 6 to 9 over the course of the two years, or from 2 to 5.

We are delighted to celebrate 100% 7-9 in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, History, Music and Spanish, as well as a 100% pass rate in Maths and Religious Studies. Some of our Year 11 pupils did exceptionally well; Rose with 11 grade 9s, and Annie, Rosie, Leen, Amelie and Clemmie with 43 grade 7s, 8s and 9s between them!

Now the girls will formalise their A Level choices as the next part of their academic journey reveals itself. We pride ourselves on a bespoke offering and tailored approach to sixth form study, and encourage much reflection and conversation at this formative time. Not only do our sixth formers have access to a rich variety of A Level subjects, but we also expect each student to take an Extended Project Qualification (EPQ), for which they write their own title. The most fantastic example of learning for learning’s sake and highly regarded by universities.

Congratulations girls and enjoy the rest of your summer break.
