On Thursday 9th November we celebrated the achievements of pupils past and present for their hard work in 2022-2023 with our annual Prize Giving ceremony. Pupils received their GCSE and A-Level certificates, prizes and trophies. Our leavers also received a lovely engraved bracelet (thank you to our Parents’ Association for contributing these) as a reminder of their time at More House School. It was great to welcome back some familiar faces to the More House community.

During the evening we were treated to some outstanding music from the Greece Tour Choir, our Senior Chamber Choir and our Key Stage 3 Choir. Speeches were given by our Chair of Governors, Mr Bogle, our Head Girl, Athena (U6th) and Ms Hagerty took us through all of the fantastic things we have accomplished over the past year and talked about the importance of relationships.

A big thank you to Tabitha Atieno (Founder of the SEEDs of Hope Academy & disability advocate) for an inspirational speech. She spoke about her life growing up in Kenya with very little and her dreams of opening a school to help children with special educational needs – which she did at the age of 17!
