On Tuesday evening the Music department treated us to an amazing showcase of performances covering Classical, Pop, Jazz and Musical Theatre. Some stunning vocal duets were heard including Delibes’s ‘Flower Duet’ and ‘All That Jazz’ from Chicago. The audience were evidently moved to hear live music once again and showed their appreciation with enthusiastic applause. Our fabulous peripatetic teachers delighted the crowd with instrumental virtuosity and the brave Grade-1-a-thon entrants showed amazing courage and skill in their performances. All in all, it was a magical evening demonstrating that the creative spirit of More House is very much alive after so many months of restrictions. This concert offered some much-needed hope and excitement for the future!
