We are delighted to announce that our Upper VI pupils have achieved an exceptional set of A Level results this year.

An astounding 51% of girls achieved A* – A grades, with 82% having secured grades of A* – B.

95% of pupils have grades which have guaranteed them places at their first choice universities with girls being set to head to some of the best Russell Group universities in the country.

Pupils have accepted places at Durham to read Modern Languages and Cultures and Business Management, Birmingham for Music, UCL for European, Social and Political Studies, Nottingham for English and Philosophy, Cardiff for Philosophy, Exeter for Business and Management, Newcastle for Landscape Architecture and Bristol for English. 45% of students outperformed their predicted grades and were eligible for adjustment to courses with higher entry requirements.

There have been a number of standout performances from Carlotta and Kana who received three straight A*s and to Julia, Josie, Phoebe, Emma, Raya, Lizzie K and Victoria who gained an impressive 10 A* and 9 A grades between them.

Grades were 100% A* and A in Music, Latin and Spanish. Maths, Psychology, Art, French, Spanish, Latin, RS, PE, Music, Physics all achieved 100% A* to B. I would like to congratulate our girls who now reap the rewards of all their hard work over the last two extraordinary years. Thanks must also go to our Director of Sixth Form; Miss O’Callaghan and our excellent teaching staff, many of whom were in school today to celebrate with the girls in person.

As you know, we pride ourselves on being a greenhouse and not a hothouse and these outstanding results are testament to our approach. It is central to our ethos that we will nurture each individual girl and facilitate them on their own unique journey.

Well done girls. We could not be more proud of you.
